With much experience and from our wealth of new ideas we develop and manufacture jeans buttons, rivets and burrs, snap fasteners, logos, decorations and attaching equipment. The field of denim we have been pioneering from the very beginnings, and we stand right amidst of what is happening. We also know the harsh reality of production and master the complex logistics of international manufacturing. In many producing countries we are there and then. Our teams are constantly liaising with product management and production places – fast, hands-on and helpful.

Production

All decisive steps of manufacturing we do in house. When carefully selected subcontractors are being used we apply our standards and direct to always meet the criteria of a premium product. Most important for us are excellent engraving and innovative finishes.

A wide range of technologies secure that ideas materialize from sample to mass production. Modern technology is keeping us on top.

And as we know the repercussions of down times we produce our own attaching machinery and dies and care for the necessary service.

Electroplating

2018 was a milestone at Berning. We have built the probably most modern electroplating facility in Europe, combining so many active electroplating baths in one fully automatic system. With this, we can achieve a much better quality and control during the production process, as well as a reduction of our ecological footprint.

With these technologies we have reduced substantially our use of energy and raw materials. With a state-of-art filtration, we have even further increased the quality of exhaust air, combined with a heat recovery system, reducing energy even more. With selected partners, we recycle even the last remnants of resources from remaining leftovers.

We work every day to improve and invent new, even more sustainable, processes to reduce our ecological footprint.
